This is one of my favorite projects: the Boston Skyline
(Unfortunately, these artworks aren’t for sale online because they are each unique.
But visit me at SoWa or contact me for custom pieces!)
UPDATE: omg omg I think I’m going to start doing other cities.
Which cities should I do? Contact link above!
A vector drawing of the city skyline from the Cambridge side of the Charles River is laser cut out of old wallpaper and collaged on a plywood slab. Each piece is one of a kind, and I want to know where in the world they each end up!
If you own a skyline or bought one for someone else, participate in my experiment:
If you hover over the skyline that you own, you’ll see that it has a number. Fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page with the number of the skyline and the city, state and country where it currently resides. Update it if you move and check back to see where all these skylines end up!
these first few were hand cut
only three exist, and I still have one…
